Deep Diver - 4 Dives
This course teaches you the techniques and
procedures that will enable you to
safely plan and conduct deeper dives, to a
Maximum depth of 40m, within the
no-stop limits.
There are 4 dives to be done, on which
you will investigate the effects of
pressure and light on various objects, as well as
perfecting other skills such as dive
planning and safety stops, including emergency
decompression. The 4 dives are usually
split over 2 days and will include one dive to
40m, the limits of recreational
diving.
Wreck Diver - 4 Dives
During the Wreck Diver
course divers will learn the techniques
necessary to safely plan and conduct dives, including limited
penetration, on different types of
wrecks. Over the course of 4 dives in 2 days, divers will
be shown how to handle a reel, measure
wrecks, avoid common hazards and how to handle
problems that may occur.
Peak Performance Buoyancy - 2 Dives
Master that buoyancy
now! Over the course of 2 dives your
instructor will show you how to obtain pin point precision buoyancy.
Imagine hovering motionless to take a
picture, or not using your BCD for 10 minutes and
still being in the perfect position
underwater, we will show you how. Save your expensive
dive kit from damage, protect the underwater environment, and never trash
the visibility again.
Dry Suit Diver - 2 Dives
Bought a drysuit and
don't know how to use it? Learn how to
use your suit in the calm, clear waters of Lanzarote, before you
jump in that freezing cold quarry. Due to
the high air temperatures in Lanzarote, it is
recommended this course only be done in
the winter (Nov - Apr), when it is cooler.
You are required to have your own
drysuit.
Underwater Navigator - 3 Dives
Never get lost again!
During the 3 dives of this course, your
instructor will show you how to navigate over long distances
with accuracy and ease. Do not think that this course will be easy because
there is 25m vis, our instructors are
very cunning!
Night Diver - 3 Dives
After just one night
dive in the fish rich waters of Puerto
Del Carmen you will be longing to do more. On this course you
will learn much more about the night time activities on the reef, the
nocturnal hunters, the
bio-luminescence, what to do if your torch fails, how to
navigate at night and many other
skills to help prepare you for night time
adventures.
Nitrox - 2 Dives
Imagine being able to
stay longer, have shorter surface
intervals and longer second dives. This is all possible, how?
With Nitrox. Nitrox is simply air with
extra xygen added. This means there is less
nitrogen, so you can stay down
longer, and go back in quicker. During the course
you learn the theory behind Nitrox, how to use some new tables, using Nitrox
Computers, and how to analyse your gas. The course also includes 2
Nitrox dives that will be compared against 2 air dives so you can see the
impact Nitrox will make to your
diving.
Search and Recovery - 4 Dives
During this course you
will learn how to locate, rig and lift
objects to be raised from the seabed. There are 4 dives on
this course, and there are 3 main
sections, Location, Rigging & Lifting.
Location will teach you various search
techniques to be used when looking
for an object, it could be large, like an
anchor, or small, like a pair of
sunglasses, and the area could be the size of a door,
to the size of a tennis court. You
will learn which technique to use where.
Rigging is where you are shown how to
safely prepare an object for lifting, and will include working with everything
from goody bags to ropework with some special knots.
Lifting is the process of recovering the
object to the surface, and will
involve fun with liftbags. Imagine balancing a
25kg anchor on one finger, it's
possible with a liftbag, and we will show you
how.
Underwater Naturalist - 2 Dives
The Underwater
Naturalist course will take your common
diving adventures and add more fun to them once you know
more about the marine life. Plants and animals, where they live, what
they are called, the best time of
year to find them, interesting facts and
myths, and all this and more covered
during your PADI Underwater Naturalist course.
Other important topics include environment, passive and active
interaction with the animals, how to
avoid damaging fragile habitats and buoyancy
control skills.
Details of all other courses available on
